Dear themantiquesnetwork,
What you have is a 2-cylinder compound marine steam engine with a reversing lever. The boiler looks good. Nicely plumbed complete with steam injector. What I do not see is a burner for the boiler. One can be easily fabricated depended on fuel choice. Judging by photos showing details of engine and plumbing on boiler, I would guess this model is fully functional. There are more of these models around then you think but the nice ones do not come up for sale often. This is a very good find. GOOGLE: N.A.M.E.S. or Cabin Fever Expo to see similar models.
