Antique Susannah Brasted London Silver Salver /Calling Card Tray 1892 313gms.This solid silver calling card tray is a very fine quality gauge silver and weighs approx 313gmsThese size trays where used for accepting calling cards or delivering a drink to the lord or lady of the manor Full clear hallmark for London 1892 and the makers mark of SB for Susannh BrastedIt measures approx 17.5 x 13.5 x 2.75 cmsIt has a crest in the centre of a stag with a cross in the middle of his antlersThes...e items have come from a grand estate that is being downsized , so therefore have never been on the market previously or from their private collection that has been collected over the years, personally I would say this is one of the former as I have a few pieces with this crest on .
