Icarus Car Mascot Design #76761 -filed Dec 8, 1927 approved October 20, 1928 designed by PC Ruppel.Made as a marque to marque car mascot specifically for Hudson unique to 1928.The mascot is well documented and is depicted in Motoring Mascots of the World by Williams Plate: 124 Page: 43 as well as in The Automotive Mascot- A design in Motion by James Colwill on Page: 88 Plate 40.Mascot is nickel plated metal alloy and shows the ring attac...hment design under the cap.
