Original Description:
This tray was produced by Wood Art, which is the company owned by Jean Gillon who designed the tray.  Circular in shape and made with the most beautiful Brazilian jacaranda wood.  The numbers on the bottom read 1/726 and it appears that someone wrote 18.5 in pen.  It is not one solid piece.  The lip around the edge is comprised of 4 pieces interlocked as shown in the last picture.  There is a small hairline crack near one of the interlocking parts but it is not... loose.  Possibly was broken off and repaired at some point.  No scratches and the makers sticker is in great conditon for it's age.  Measures 14.5 inches in diameter.

A little about the desinger:
Jean Gillon is a Brazilian furniture designer born in Romania in 1919. He studies at the Architecture and Fine arts Schools at the National University.  He founded his first company Fábrica de Móveis Cidam in 1961 after emigrating to São Paulo, Brazil in 1956. Gillon's firm designed many luxury hotels throughout Brazil and homes and stores. He was known for his one of a kind tapestries. His second furniture company, WoodArt, produced full lines of Brazilian rosewood furniture and objects-utilizing upholstery and leather along with wood.  On Sep-02-20 at 18:58:32 PDT, seller added the following information:Reserve is $175.
