Antique Dresden porcelain figurine .. a seated lady, holding a basket of flowers, a lamb by her side. Entirely and expertly hand painted, delicate facial features. She wears a lace dress with frothy layers of ruffles, dotted with tiny flowers;... her bonnet is adorned with a purple bow and flowers. The ground is covered with bocage, grass and colorful little flowers; branches with flowers on her right side. Decorative gilt-trimmed base. Apx 6 1/2" high; the base is apx 5 1/4" X 4". Maker's mark: "Unter Weiss Bach .. Germany", with a crown logo, in blue; there are also small impressed numbers. Please note one of the branches is repaired and there is a small area of loss to the lace on the back of her dress (see close-ups); otherwise very good condition. Enlarge photos for detail.
