Both the doll and dress are in Mint condition, "like new", but classified old because she's a vintage doll and outfit. A play on words here. Wendy is so sweet, she has Tosca colored triple stitched wig and looks shiny new; she is a bent knee walker and her walker works good. Wendy has blue eyes and rosy cheeks. Wendy is wearing a blue and white gingham cotton dress with a white colla...r and white border around her dress, which is tagged "Wendy-Kins" the tag and dress still look New. Underneath she wears blue and white gingham cotton panties tagged "Wendy-Kins".
These panties are the original panties she came in. The panties are a different shade of blue than her dress. Wendy came just in her panties ready to be dressed, which I dressed her in the dress she is wearing. She is wearing black Mary Jane style side snap shoes with white socks. I'm including the Wendy-kins box her dress came in
I've collected Madame Alexander dolls since the 1960's to date, and need to reduce my collection as my granddaughters are not fond of dolls. Please note that my dolls are sold in as-is condition. Please do not hesitate to ask for any additional photos or closeups as I am parting with my collection and want to make sure you know as much as possible about them before purchasing them. I took several photos so, again, please do not hesitate to ask. I hope she brings as much joy to you as she has me. Believe me, it is very hard to part with them.
Doll Creed: "When you own an old doll, you own a piece of history. Old dolls are wonderful - no matter their condition - because they were once loved by a child and have a history. Don't dismiss them for their flaws, but rather cherish them for their legacy and enjoy the treasure of their childhood heritage". By jvrchic.
