Antique Beautiful 19th Century French Aubusson Painting
Description:This beautiful 19th century French aubusson painting, was painted on canvas to be used and translated into a woven fabric for the adaptation into a sofa cover. The background color is a creme, with oval shape enclosures with the outer one with ribbons, flowers, and scrolls, in red, pink, blue, and soft brown. The inner enclosure, has an owl and a bird on branches..., with trees in the background, surrounded by a wreath.
Measurement:48 1/2 inches in Width by 28 inches in Length Condition:Fair This is an old 19th century painting. There is a strong "crease" mark down the center of the painting, there are also scratch marks in various places. There are pencil marks surrounding the enclosure– but still wonderful for framing at a small price.
