A photograph depicting a civilian (?) administrator addressing a group of armed tribesmen in India on the North West Frontier. The photograph is by R. B. Holmes & Co. of Peshawar, now in Pakistan. He acted as photographer to the North-West Frontier Force in the 3rd Afghan War of 1919 and during the later Waziristan Campaigns. (//).Cond...ition: Good condition with light wear including a light crease across the lower part of the image.Size: Photograph 29.00 cm. x 24.00 cm.
