Victorian photo album features celluloid front cover depicting sailboats and multi-color velvet back cover and spine. The velvet is quite worn but adds to the beauty and time this 100+ year old album has seen. Spring locking clasp still works and also has a folding carrying handle on the back. Front cover is adorned with a filigree edge. Spine is in really good condition, there is some tearing where the photos slide in and out on the pages. This album cont...ains 75 posed pictures, there is only 1 empty spot in the album. Some pics have cabinet cards. Pics are all posed family or individual photos with possibly some death memorials. I have included some pics of photos for examples of what's in this album. Measures 11 1/2" by 9 1/2" by 3" thick and is quite heavy at almost 9 lbs.
