I received this as a Christmas present in 1982 when I was 13 years old during the "Rambo" knife era. If you have done your research, you'll know that these are probably one of the best hollow handle survival knives ever made.
Robert Parrish used to have a knife shop in the town I still reside in. This knife was probably the nicest gift I had ever received up to that time and I was scared to use it, afraid of ruining it the slightest bit. Because of that, it ha...s seldom been used at all, spending most of it's life in a trunk or gun safe. I hate to use the cliche "like new" but it's close. I found a picture of the original sales flyer online from that time period. I wish I still had mine.
Time has come for a more experienced collector to add it to their collection. I know he continued to make these up until the late 80's, but this has to be an early one. It doesn't have a serial number that I know of, but I'm not sure the history of these knives. Any questions are welcome. Thanks!
