This decoy was carved by William A. Jagnow of Williamson, NY. He passed away in 2015 at the age of 96. I believe this is a Mallard but am no expert on decoys so please correct me if necessary. The decoy has been used and shows wear from that use with paint loss as shown in the photos. He has a turned head, glass eyes, carved feathers on the top back and a metal plate on the bottom stamped W. JAGNOW. Measures about 16.5" Long. I am told this is a Mediterranean Offering Bowl. I don't really know. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks. There are areas of roughness in the making and areas where the glaze is missing as shown in the photos. Please examine the photos as they are an important part of the listing.
