Large selection of handmade shoemakers tools for sale. A couple of rare tools are also included. Listed at a fair price I think (priced at less than £10 each). Most of them were made in Hungary during the first half of the 20th century. The majority are marked with the makers marks. Please note the leather background, the leather soles and the nail bowl are not i...ncluded in the sale.
The following 14 items are included in the sale:
* continental style heel glazin iron, large size, maker Regács (Hungary)* edge iron size 5-6, maker Pataky (Hungary)* edge iron size 11, (single size, wide)* edge iron no size, maker FP* edge iron no size (narrow)* narrow waist iron, maker Hatvani (Hungary)* lasting pliers, Hungarian patten (the joint is a bit loose but still good condition) * tack lifter* pegging awl, screw type head normal size* pegging awl, screw type head large size* welt knife, German maker (hammer & pliers mark, not sure about the name)* fudge wheel with 2 different spi heads (maker Iring)* last puller hook* special rasp for insole finishing
The tools are in good overall condition considering their age as you can see in the pictures. Minimal surface rust and other marks can be found. The wooden handles do show the usual signs of wear, mainly burn marks and cracks in some cases. Some of the wooden handles are in bad or repaired condition. The ironing surfaces of the tools are in very good condition as you can see in the pictures.
The tools will be sent carefully packed by international priority mail with a tracking number.
