Special selection of handmade shoemakers tools for sale. A couple of very rare tools are also included. Listed at a fair price I think. Most of them were made in Hungary during the first half / middle of the 20th century. The majority are marked with the makers marks. Please note the leather soles and the nail bowl are not included in the sale.
The following 7 ...items are included in the sale:
* welting awl (ideal for Goiser construction)* welting awl (Rasche blade)* stitching awl (King blade)* full large spool of natural unbleached linen thread (sole stitching thickness)* full large spool of natural unbleached linen thread (welting thickness)* 4 pc replacement awl blades* 6 pairs of different needles, all suitable for hand stitching
The tools are in good overall condition considering their age as you can see in the pictures. Minimal surface rust and other marks can be found. The wooden handles do show the usual signs of wear, mainly marks and cracks in some cases. The awl type tools are fairly sharp in most cases but they would benefit from sharpening.
The tools will be sent carefully packed by international priority mail with a tracking number.
