THIS ITEM IS A BRONZE LIKE ORIGINAL MEDAL. IT DEPICTS JAMES STREET GOING BACK TO COMPLETE THAT CLUTCH PASS AGAINST THE ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS TO SECURE THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP IN 1969. IT JUST SO HAPPENED TO BE THE 100 YEAR COLLEGE FOOTBALL CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION. A SILVER MEDAL OF THE SAME DESIGN WAS PRESENTED TO THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AN ALUMNI MEETING IN 1970 WHERE PRESIDENT LYNDON JOHNSON WAS IN ATTENDANCE. RARE ITEM ONLY A FEW EXIST. THIS IS THE SMALL SIZE MEDAL M...ADE BY THE METAL ARTS COMPANY OF ROCK NEW YORK. IT MEASURES 1 1/2 INCHES IN DIAMETER AND APPROX 1/16 INCH THICK. GO LONGHORNS !!!    HAVE ONLY FIVE LEFT!!
