MIRACLE on ICE !A RARE Strip of Vintage 1980 ORIG...INAL 35mm negatives featuring the HISTORIC medal-round men's ice hockey game played during the 1980 Winter Olympics at Lake Placid, New York, on Friday, February 22. The United States national team, made up of amateur and collegiate players led by coach Herb Brooks, defeated the Soviet Union national team, which had won the gold medal in six of the seven previous Olympic games. Dubbed the "Miracle on Ice", it is regarded by many as one of the greatest moments in sports history and an event that transcended the sport during the Cold War. This "ONE-of-a-KIND" negative strip originates from the Metropolis Olympic collection. It features never-before-seen, UNPUBLISHED shots from that historic game. The strip is in NrMT to MINT condition and is capable of making unlimited quality enlargements. A unique collectible that you will NOT find elsewhere.
