>Offered here is an old and original 1970 NFL National Football League and The General Tire & Rubber Company "Evolution of the Uniform" football poster!! This very scarce full-color vintage football poster measures approximately 36" x 24", and feature...s a history of the American football uniform from different eras. Both the NFL and The General Tire & Rubber Company production credits are listed at the poster's bottom edge (see close-up). The poster was represents the first season of the NFL merger with the American Football League (AFL), and pictures all of the team's helmets with their old logos of that era. <>Teams include: Baltimore Colts, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Atlanta Falcons, St. Louis Cardinals, New York Giants, New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Los Angeles Rams, Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco Forty-Niners, Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, San Diego Chargers, Buffalo Bills, Houston Oilers, Miami Dolphins, Cincinnati Bengals, Boston Patriots, Oakland Raiders, New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs. There are eight (8) different football legends from the NFL's different eras pictured: GEORGE HALAS, ERNIE NEVERS, BRONKO NAGURSKI, BOB WATERFIELD, MARION MOTLEY, Y.A. TITTLE, PAUL HORNUNG and finally BUCK BUCHANAN. A truly scarce football poster from fifty years ago! <>Condition: this poster is "well used" and has been lovingly displayed by its original owner. There is creasing throughout, stains, tack holes, tape repairs, Etc....far, far from mint condition. Still, you can see the poster still displays nicely and is a tough find!!!
