Vintage Civil War CDV Photo - Identified Soldier Died In Hospital In 1863

An antique CDV of a Union soldier standing with rifle at his side. Hand written on the reverse is what looks like "Robin Alexander - Died in the hospital in Maryland Dec. 23rd 1863" (the last four letters of the first name and smudged so the name could be Robinson or something other than Robin). Looks like this CDV is a photo of another CDV or tintype that had a metal decorative trim (there is no metal trim on this CDV). There are pin holes at top and bottom, the surf...ace is scuffed, and it shows overall moderate wear and soiling. It measures approximately 2 3/8" by 3 7/8". Please look carefully at the attached images which give an accurate impression of the cosmetic condition of the photo. I'm happy to combine shipping when possible.
