Description: For sale here is this gorgeous, Victorian mourning brooch with a lovely scrolled design around the edges. The metal tests for 10K gold filled. There is an, oval central locket with beautiful, tightly woven hair and a beveled, glass locket crystal that is surrounded a gold, chased border. The space between the edges is filled with black enamel creating a wonderful contrast with the gold. It fastens with a c catch and tube hinge in the back. Fastens securely. Some minor dents on the back along with light scratching or surface wear. Most of the wear on the front is seen mainly only upon close inspection. The glass is in good order with surface wear seen when looking with a magnification. The enamel is intact and looks good when looking with the naked eye but wear should be expected to be seen when looking with magnification.
