This very attractive vintage Masonic penny token is from the St. Lawrence Chapter No. 24 R. A. M. in Potsdam, New York - a chapter no longer included in the list of active chapters. The obverse identifies the chapter and has the words ONE PENNY in the center. The reverse has images of a chisel, maul, and large ornate keystone. The diameter is approximately 31 mm (nearly 1-1/4"), and the composition is copper.This item is in almost uncircu...lated condition, with no apparent actual wear, limited signs of handling, toning, and limited soiling, and it remains very bright. There is very attractive rainbow toning on all surfaces, with predominantly blue and red shades.
