330g VERY LARGE WOODEN REEL BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE FRENCH GOLD METAL THREAD 3. ... Click images to enlarge Description This auction is for a large, heavy (300g/10oz) wooden reel of beautiful unused vintage French gold metal thread c1950s. It is a quality, oval or round section thread (my eyes aren't good enough to tell), bright, fine gold metal wrapped around a core thread with about 2 threads per 1mm. It came from a factory in France that had closed down.It is in good unused condition, minor wear. The reel measures just 4.25"/6 cms tall. Thank you for looking.
