BEAUTIFUL WOODEN REEL VINTAGE FRENCH GOLD METAL THREAD
BEAUTIFUL WOODEN REEL VINTAGE FRENCH GOLD METAL THREAD ... Click images to enlarge Description This is a beautiful little vintage French wooden reel of pale gold metal thread from the 1950s. It is a quality, oval or round section thread (my eyes aren't good enough to tell), metal strip wrapped around a core thread with about 3-4 threads per 1mm. It came from a factory in France that had closed down.It is the type of thread used for couching.The condition is: mostly good, a slight dent from storage, see photos. The reel measures about 1.5"/3.5 cms tall. Thank you for looking.
