This vintage Masonic token is a souvenir of the 1921 celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Fort Meigs Chapter No. 29 R. A. M. in Toledo, Ohio, and this token has an unusual irregular shape. The obverse identifies the Chapter, has a keystone inside a diamond design (for the diamond anniversary!), and has the dates 1846 and 1921. The reverse states the anniversary, provides the 'constituted' date, and is engraved with the brother's name, appearing to be W. B. BECK.&...nbsp; From the wear, it is evident that this token was carried as a pocket piece for a long time. The diameter is approximately 34 mm (nearly 1-3/8"), and, according to references, the composition is bronze (perhaps brass).This item is in very good condition, with wear, signs of handling, toning, and soiling, and it remains bright. The name was engraved well but is worn. The illustrations in this listing are photos of the actual item being offered for sale, serving as part of the description.
