For sale is an antique Victorian period sewing kit. It features a gorgeous and large Gothic style .800 silver thimble (see pic #5 for close-up) and a sterling silver hallmarked scissor (see pics #9 & #10 for close-up). The scissor blade is marked "GERMANY" and the handle has I think a Birmingham hallmark? As just noted the thimble is rather large and weighs about 6.95 grams. Not sure what size it is but my guess is like a 12 or so? It is in e...xcellent shape and might even be unused! The scissor has a bit more wear and patina and I think the blades might be damaged since they do not close unless you press the handle together (pic #9), but when you let go, they open back up as seen close-up in the last 2 pics. The red leather case is in poor shape with general damage but cool to have none-the-less. Buyer pays shipping fee based on zip-code. PayPal accepted.
