1945 RPPC of the US Navy Aircraft Carrier the USS Enterprise CV-6 in New York City for Navy Day celebrations in October of 1945. This was sort of the beginning of the end for "The Big E". The most decorated ship in the history of the US Navy would be scrapped 10 years later. The light aircraft carrier USS Monterey (CVL-26) is in the background.
