lot of 3 different Antique Inkwell s / Ink Well s being sold as a collection. #1.) Art Nouveau design hinged brass lidded inkwell beautifully executed in Excellent condition. Heavy glass base with patterned bottom. #2.) smallest of the 3, this one has a detachable screw-off cap made of sterling silver (tarnished on the outer side), tiny dent in cap. & #3.) largest of the 3 has a swirled glass pattern to base & hinged (brass) lid. Base is 1.5"... squared, height with cap is approx. 3" tall. These were part of my Uncle's estate (an antique collector) who died in 1971 Buffalo NY ... been stored these last 60 years (put into storage a few years before death, when he was sick). A nice collection of ink wells would make a good gift. VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT condition, been stored since 1960s, the small heavy glass ink well has a dent in the sterling lid, etc. ... see photos ... I am selling-off a large portion of my movie & Sheet Music Collection (all categories). Been collecting over 50 years.
