Original Description:
This belonged to my great grandmother in the late 1800’s. Has some chips along brim and oil stains. Please look at photos carefully.This is biscuit or cane Ware (fired but then left unglazed). A wonderful very detailed piece. There is an extra ceramic dish nested inside, not sure if it was made for the butter dish. Approximately 8” wide by 3” tall. I believe that this was made by Wilhelm Schiller and son by the mark on bottom of the dish.
