Vintage Gubelin 8 - eight day alarm clock - Swiss Luxor movement - Needs work.. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
There are two flaws that need to be pointed out. The front left post (leg) has been broken at the threaded shaft. A poor attempt at gluing it back in was made by a previous owner. I find that it tends to stay in place by friction. Example, you can pick up the clock and the post stays in place. The clock functions but the m...ainspring is slipping or broken. I can wind it and it will run for a while (hours), but it clearly needs to be repaired to operate as an eight day clock. Overall conditionMostly tarnish and dust. Dial is in very good condition. All hands set with no issues and the alarm function winds, sets and rings.Dimensions3 and 1/4" tall x 2 and 3/8" wide x just under 2" deep.I know nothing of these clocks, so if you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
