A super Art Deco Elliott mantel clock in solid oak with ebonised feet and an ebonised black edge to the front (this has a minor ding to the middle top which is barely noticeable). The beveled edged glass is framed in gilt metal and the face is a muted gilt with black Roman numerals. It bares the retailer’s name “Bowden & Sons Ltd Plymouth and “ An Elliott Clock” near the bottom. It is good working order and keeps excellent time and has a lovely rhythmic ticking sound. On cl...ose inspection there appears to be a minor repair (again barely noticeable) to the top back left corner - see photos.Approx measurements:4 5/8 inches wide x 5 inches high x 2 1/2 inches deep overall.
