The photos which stand out for me are those shown in the low resolution listing images .Good shots of WW1 British Army trucks and the photos of planes & hangers , taken at RAF Minchinhampton ( later renamed in 1938 RAF Aston Down ) .
During WW1 RAF Minchinha...mpton served as a base for the Australian Flying Corps . The photo of truck alongside railway wagons is captioned "Aussies at work " .
Of the photos not shown in the listing images ..others include postcard sized posed photos , of a uniformed man or men ( brothers ? ) in 1914 , one is Army Service Corps hence the trucks and the other is in Red Cross uniform , 2 other posed uniform photos are dated 1916 & 1917 .. There are 2 photos of a young lady posing with a chap in Australian uniform taken at Bibury . A photo of a tram conductress Bristol 1917 . 4 photos contain vintage cars of the period . There are a few more of men in uniform.
Album is in its original state ..full and complete , nothing removed or altered . The Australian Flying Corps images are rare !
