Original Description:
Up for auction is this ornate, high quality brass/bronze inkstand. It measures approximately 12.5" wide x 8.0" deep x 5.5" tall and weighs 7.5 pounds.  It's heavy! It is missing one of the glass inkwells and, I believe, the candle holder (please note the"hole" near the center-rear section of the inkstand). At the very rear of the inkstand is an open-mouthed lion with winged griffins on each side.  Underneath the lion/griffins is a recessed area to store pens.&n...bsp;Apart from the missing items, it is an impressive piece in very nice condition. By way of comparison, please see ebay item no. 163640192860. Please note that I know about "zero" with regard to inkstands/inkwells.  However, if you have any questions, or require additional photos, I would be pleased to provide that information. Please see scans for details.  No international bidders please.
