2Vintage Sterling Silver Child's Thimbles EnglishHallmarks One of theselittle sterling silver thimbles has all over daisy knurling.The band isstamped with English Sterling hallmarks for Chester. The script dateletteris partially rubbed but looks like it's an 'H' or 'L' whichwouldbe 1908 or 1911. It was made by Henry Griffith & Sons and hasthe wholesaler's mark for Christoper Buckton. It isabout anAmericanchild's size 5 (13.6 mm diameter openin...g). Theother thimble has a wide rim and a daisy band. It is stamped "SterlingSilver" and "Made in England" which means it was made for export.It is c. 1920-30 and is also aboutanAmericanchild's size 5 (13.3 mm diameter opening).Both are inexcellent condition, inround with no holes, dents or other damage.
