It also comes with a special back that allows it to be attached to a special ring gear on the top of the tripod. This back turns the camera on the top of the tripod to expose a continuous length of film. Capable of a full 360 degree picture. As you can see there is film loaded ...in it currently, I do not know if it is exposed.
There are several film holders for sheet film, some with film in them. Again, I do not know if these are exposed. There are 2 brand new boxes of 8" film included as well, however it is stamped on the boxes that they should be developed before July 1, 1942. The gear set that attaches to the bottom of the camera appears to be complete based on the picture in the manual, though it looks like there could/should be one more gear, but of that I am uncertain.
A manual is included, but is for the No.6 model, I'm not sure what the difference is other than size. The No. 6 only does up to 6" tall film. This has to be a No. 8 because it can accommodate 8" film, though the roll installed in it currently is 6" tall.
The bellows are in fantastic shape, light tight and nearly air tight. When putting the camera way it helps to have the back open so that you can collapse the camera more quickly.
There is a lot here and would be a terrific find for a collector, or someone that really wants to explore panoramic prints. When I was in Junior high I went to Washington DC for a school trip, and our classes had a picture taken with one of these. It took around 15 seconds to make the full sweep, which gave the teachers the opportunity to run behind the students and appear on both ends of the photograph.
This camera is pretty cool, and if I were into photography as a serous hobby I'd keep it.
There is a lot here, and may require multiple boxes for shipping. If you wanted to drive to southern Idaho I would be happy to let you pick it up directly if you win.
UPDATE: I had an old timer show me how the motor system works and it does, and it is still smooth so the camera should be operational.
