Up for bid is a beautiful vintage Bolex Paillard H16 Pan-Cinor 85 16mm Reflex camera. From what I am told this Camera was used by a production company and NOT in the harsh TV news environment. Has numerous original Bolex manuals in very good condition. From research the H16 debuted in 1956. I am not sure of the age of this model. Finish is virtually free of any scratches or marks. Lens holes are covered with factory screw in protective caps. Camera winds and mechanism runs perfectly. D...oor opens and closes smooth and tight. Has take up reel. Comes with a Kodak Cine Ektor102mm lens F 2.7. The lens does not mount on camera as is. There is a Kodak cine lens adapter box included but I can’t find any adapter. Lens will be included and wrapped securely. Also has an electric motor Type MC-17. Says in included manual that it’s used to shoot lengthy shots without interruption. I don’t know how it works and can’t verify if it is functioning. Also includes a Cadil Prismatic Focuser with case and instructional sheet. Says “This device permits direct observation on ground glass of image registered by taking lens-ensuring absolute accurate framing and focusing os subject at any distance”Also included is a heavy brass handle with threaded end that could be a handle. Also a Bolex Goffen light meter for H Reflex camera. One unopened roll 7250 high speed filmNumerous filter gel holders. Actual Tiffen glass filters pink and orange that fit inside front lens hood. Packets of Kodak gel materials. Various other cranks and what looks like eye cup. Original rubber eye piece is dried out. Will need a new replacement. Case is hammered aluminum in ok used condition. Has snap shut compartments and shows wear. Has all latches intact. Measures 10” x12”x20. Heavy. Selling this for a friend who was in production many years ago. That original lens is not with this camera. This camera has a Kodak Cine EKtor lens that seems to be a fixed lens not a zoom lens. Just wanted to be clear to anyone bidding.
