This is the very high end and professional German made Bauer S715XL Microcomputer Super 8mm sound movie camera one of best in the Super 8mm film gage, in excellent operating and like new cosmetic condition from estate sale. The camera comes with the high end Macro Angenieux 6-90MM, f/1.4 Multi-coated zoom lens with the special coating for anti-glare, anti-reflection and sharp picture contrast along with split image and Macro focusing, and is one of the sharpest lens in ...the Super 8mm film gage, featuring 2 speeds auto and manual zoom, auto/manual exposure, and the camera runs at film speeds of 9, 18, 24 and 40fps frames per second, back winding for double exposure, variable shutter for fades and Lap dissolve, sync flash socket for sound recording, and built-in shoulder brace, intervalmeter timer with 1/4-60 second intervals for single frame animation and runs on (6)Size AA 1.5volt batteries to power and the light meter. This camera also features film exposure ASA range: 25/40 ASA or 100/160 ASA for various film stocks, accepts 50ft sound and silent film cartridges, and is ideal for shooting with the Pro8mm professional quality Super 8mm color negative, and other available color and black and white film stocks, which are favorites for Music Video Productions and Super 8mm feature films.
The Bauer movie camera is one owner outfit from estate sale in beautiful and like new cosmetic condition with nice clean lens optics, and it's in excellent operating condition with working light meter, and auto/manual zoom and clean battery compartment. However, the original rechargeable batteries are old and no longer hold charge, and the charger was misplaced/missing and it will need new batteries cells for the handgrip compartment. Also, the cover for 4th button/switch on front panel is missing as shown in photos 4 and 5, that aside the camera is in beautiful cosmetic condition, and it comes with the Bauer sound boom microphone, remote control cable, wrist strap and soft brush for lens cleaning in the original Black Bauer S715XL leather carrying case, and is ready for Super 8MM Filmmaking and the Cine Collector and thanks for looking.
