Original Description:
Kodak Medalist I, Ektar 3.5/100 mm - converted to 120 filmThis Kodak camera was designed as the Medalist I for the U.S. Armed Forces during WWII.  The best part of this very heavy camera is the fantastic Ektar lens and the 6x9 cm format.  The bad part is that it uses 620 film.I have converted about 100 cameras to 120 film over the last 30 years.  The take-up spool is still an empty 620 spool.  The fresh film chamber has been enlarged to hold a 120 spool.  Becau...se of this very small change, the film counter still works as it was designed. The camera I have for sale is one of 4 Medalists I that I used until a few years ago. The lens is very clean - no haze, no fungus, and has only minor cleaning marks.  The shutter works fine at all speeds.  The rangefinder is very accurate, but has some minor dust inside.  Included is a sky filter, yellow filter, and one sun shade. The sun shade or retaining ring will screw into the lens. Also included is a lens cover, cable release, 2 empty 620 spools, my revised instructions, and a simple, one-sided photocopy of the original instructions.  Please note that this is one of the few camera models that should not be used before reading my instructions for later Medalist II.I accept payment through Paypal. Buyer pays $15 insured shipping and handling in the continental USA;  worldwide insured shipping and handling is $100.
