Offered is an Ernemann HEAG III, the 1925-1926 model, a single extension folding camera for 9x12 cm images on sheet film. This one has an Ernar doppel anastigmat f6.3, 13.5cm lens in a Cronos A shutter. It's complete, with an intact ground glass, folding focusing hood, leather handle, and a short cable release. Made in Dresden, Germany. Included are (6) original sheet film holders.
Condition: Fairly easy to restore. The lens appears free of ha...ze, but has the usual faint cleaning marks typical of 100 year old uncoated lenses. The shutter fires on all speeds but is slow to close. The diaphragm iris appears free of oil. The bellows are light-tight, based on a penlight inspection. The lensboard opens and closes well. The film holders are complete but need to be sanded down and repainted prior to use.
The last photo was taken on the "O" or "time" setting with the lens wide open. Note that the image is dim but sharp.
