There are felts for needles and pins as well asa compartment for scissors and others. The metal edging has hand engrave details and appears to be solidsilver, though I can find no markings. Its latch features open work with engraving and blue enamel accents; thetop part is in the form of Prince of Wales plumes. ...; Overall, it is in very fine condition withminimal wear and color loss to the leather and some fading, but little wear tothe silk interior.
