This is a one of a kind piece of western History. This is the ledger book for the Osage Hotel in Medicine Lodge. This was a smaller establishment and hosted travelers from Oklahoma Territory, Kansas and others This was a true Western Pioneer hotel. The book is full to the brim. From the years 1889-1890. One interesting name of note, Bill Cody. I cant be 100% sure this was Buffalo Bill, but the date and time makes sense. Also lists him as being from "IT." Indian territory? Who knows wha...t other western types or regional hisptrical figures are in this book?
Just an amazing piece of history. And if you are an enterprising type, you could steam all of the newspaper clippings off and see the advertising underneight.
