Original Description:
Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien 2nd edition/1st print George Allen & Unwin UK, 1966. Original, unclipped dust jackets are protected with Brodart plastic covers. All 3 dust jackets have minor chipping and edge wear.  Fellowship of the Ring jacket has 2 small tears at top of spine, both less than 1 inch. Return of the King has a stain that is visible inside the dust jacket.  Stain can also be seen on front of book cover, lower-left near the spine (see photo #8 on the right & #9 on top...). Stain is minor and does not affect inside of book. All 3 books have original owners name and date inscribed on front free endpaper. All 3 books contain the original maps that are still attached. Books are clean and in very good condition.
