DESCRIPTIONVtg Cotton Full Feedsack Small Blue Flowers on Tiny Red Dots -38 x 49 This cotton feedsack has a print of small blue flowerswith green accents on a background of tiny abstract red square dots onwhite. It is in excellent condition withgood color and no stains. It has onevery small (1/4”) hole near one end thatis typical of these. It measures 38”wide by 49” long and is clean, pressed, and ready to use.I sometimes list vintage quilting fabric ...andfeedsacks. All of these textiles arevintage, not new reproductions, primarily from estates. When listing these fabrics I use the term“feedsack” generically as they could have been flour sacks, feed sacks, sugarsacks, etc. I measure conservatively butplease keep in mind that these sacks will usually have needle holes along theedges. All of my feedsacks have beencarefully hand washed, line dried, and pressed with any significant damage orstains noted in the description. I comefrom a farm family and as a child my mother would tell stories of the wonderfuldresses her grandmother made for her from these fabulous fabrics during theGreat Depression and the early years of WWII. My great grandfather would be given careful instructions as to whichpatterns of sack to buy prior to his trips to town.
