Green cloth binding with gold medallions on front and back covers.Volumes are in average condition. v. I has 1st 3 pages separated from spine, and the engraving of Grant's birthplace is also separated from spine (see photos). Pages are otherwise aged but good. v. II has no separated pages to my knowledge.
