Up for auction is an exquisite vintage ANRI Madonna and Child carving entitled "Madonna of the Grapes" by Prof. Pitscheider. It is an exceptionally beautiful carving adorned in gold. It is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or repairs. The detailed coloring, patina and carving are exceptional!
The Madonna is approximately 11” tall and 3.25" wide. There are no stickers or stamps on this carving. The bottom is covered with green felt. I believe this carving... is from the 1950s or 1960s. This Madonna and Child carving is one of ANRI's most famous and collectible religious carvings. I would have to say that she is the most exquisite ANRI Madonna and Child carving I’ve listed for an eBay auction. I am selling this carving because I inherited my Mother's “Madonna of the Grapes” carving, and decided to part with this duplicate. Just an amazing carving!
