Medinah Country Club is recognized as the best golf course in the Chicago area and one of the finest private golf clubs in the world.Built in the 1920's, Medinah's 640 acres includes 3 golf courses, a...nd classic international architectural structures and art. It has hosted major championships, several U.S. Opens, PGA Championships, and the Ryder Cup.
Beautifully photographed and illustrated and reproductions of ephemera throughout, this Collector's book tells stories of many of the golfing masters who played its courses during some of the most notable championships and opens in US history.
It is one of the best books to reference for a dynamic and thoughtful history of golf in America over the last almost 100 years, and a perfect gift and a delightful read for the consummate golf enthusiast.

Condition: This book is in very good condition.Beautiful design and gilt words on simulated leather padded hardcover.
There are no other writings, no bookplates, no remainder marks, not ex-library, no underlining, etc.
There's a very minor 1/2 in. indentation on the back side of the spine, but it does not affect book function. Please see photos for more details.
