Original Description:
A fascinating Chinese leporello from circa 1900 (no date). The title translates roughly, Old Photos of Palace Life, and the ten photographs (pasted-in) are largely of the royal family around 1900, and especially the Empress Dowager.  These leporellos were produced for sale to tourists.  The photographer, for the majority of these photos, if not all, has been recorded as Xun Ling.Physical Attributes -Measures approx. 19 x 14 x 1 cm.. Cloth covered hardcover boards. Ten photogr...aphs within.Condition -See pictures. Vintage patina, with the pleasing look of history. Some rubbing, edge wear to binding, and paper label toned.  Boards slightly bowed. Pages quite toned.
