Copyrighted 1902 early printing of " A Special Limited Edition" measuring 7 5/8 x 5 1/4 inches with small paste-on photo cover of William Gillette as Sherlock Holmes, 249 pages and b & w illustrations.
Inked and stamped inside is the name Stephen Babcock Mambert with his Kingston NY home address and college address in Ithaca at Cornell University. Mr. Mambert graduated from Cornell in 1907 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for Westinghouse, MacArthur Winston Co.... ( Ashokan Reservoir 1908-10) and became VP and Financial Executive at Thomas Edison Inc.
