Here is a handsome antique 8 day Victorian mantle clock, “LA FRANCE” from the ANSONIA Clock Company in beautiful restored condition, with time and strike movement dated 1882 with fancy embossed plates, in massive enameled iron cabinet with lion mask decorations, cast brass bezel with deeply beveled glass, porcelain dial and visible escapement. With age related wear to porcelain dial as pictured. No damage or breaks to clock. Running and striking for full week but not tested for acc...uracy. Movement may require adjustments/cleaning upon delivery. A handsome clock in beautiful restored condition, featured in Tran Duy Ly’s , “Ansonia Clocks “. Please see photos for condition. With key.
