Pasted on front cover image has tear on bottom left where a 1/2 inch piece is missing.
Frontispiece an...d tissue cover intact on front title page where the opposite page is the frontispiece with the tissue cover pages show outline of the tissue and discoloration. Book has been handled often, all pages and illustrations seems to be intact.
Smells musty, like an old book, but no mold or mildew Check pictures for close ups of conditions.
Bottom edges of cover are bashed where it looks like pushed on and off a shelf. Gold gilt edging on the top is intact. Not an ex library copy, is from our personal family estate.
