"The Outline of History" by H.G. Wells.  Two volume set published in England by George Newnes Ltd.  This book ends with the Treaty of Versailles (WWI) and is a true 1919 First Edition, printed before the U.S. release in 1920.  Beautifully illustrated.  Good condition as stated above.
"The Outline of History" was originally published as a bound set of 24 magazines and this is an early two volume hardcover set.
