Der Wildfteller. J. F. Cooper. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Because I cannot read or speak German our library's computer whiz researched the interpretation for me. The story is "A Story for Young People", and "fully edited by Paul Morik". The four beautiful color illustrations were done by W. Hoffman. It is the second edition in German of the third volume of Cooper's "Leatherstocking" series and tells of the "18th century of development in the primarily... former Iroquois area in Central New York." This printing was published in the country of England with the title meaning "The Prairie".The book is tightly bound and hard for me to hold open with one hand and then take a phone photo with the other. Therefore I use clear plastic in many cases to help hold open the pages so you get a better view.No publication date is given but eBay will not let me publish this listing unless I give a date. The Leather Stocking Series was first published between 1823 to 1841 so I just typed in 1835 as a guess! Please read my condition description and enlarge my photos to judge the condition for yourself. And please email with any questions before bidding. I usually ship in one day but list as in two days just in case something comes up. If you have a tax exempt number and are buying this book to resell to a customer please add that number. Thanks for looking.
