YOU ARE BIDDING ON AN ANTIQUE 1886 RARE ANSONIA "GALENA" BLACK WALNUT SHELF, OR PARLOR CLOCK IN WORKING ORDER. UNUSUAL DESIGN NOT SEEN VERY OFTEN. COMES WITH KEY AND ORIGINAL ANSONIA ORNATE PENDULUM. ORIGINAL ANSONIA SIGNED AND DATED EIGHT DAY MOVEMENT HAS RECENTLY BEEN SERVICED BY A CLOCK PROFESSIONAL. FOUND IN TRAN DUY LY'S BOOK ON ANSONIA CLOCKS ON PAGE 457.. STRIKES THE HOURS AND HALF HOURS ON A DEEP SOUNDING COILED GONG. ORIGINAL REVERSE PAINTED GLASS IS GOOD WITH VERY L...ITTLE FADING. ORIGINAL DIAL IS GOOD BUT YELLOWING. CASE HAS A FEW NICKS HERE AND THERE.  A GREAT ANSONIA RARE MODEL SHELF CLOCK FOR YOUR COLLECTION NOT SEEN VERY OFTEN. DIMENSIONS: 20.75 INCHES TALL, 12 INCHES WIDE, AND 4.25 INCHES DEEP.  CLOCK  WILL BE DOUBLE BOXED IN A LARGE 16X16  BOX AND INSURED FOR SHIPPING.
